Lisa Brendlen, Director of Finance
Lisa Brendlen is a key member of the California Cattlemen’s Association (CCA) team, serving as the Director of Finance. In this pivotal role, she is responsible for orchestrating budget objectives, meticulously monitoring the Association’s financial inflows and outflows, and providing invaluable support to fellow CCA colleagues in their relentless pursuit to champion and safeguard the interests of California’s dedicated beef producers.
Lisa embarked on her journey with CCA in April 2011, bringing with her a wealth of experience spanning over 13 years in the realms of accounting, administration, and unwavering customer service excellence. Her career path led her to CCA after serving as the astute staff accountant and payroll manager at Rudolf Steiner College in Fair Oaks. Additionally, Lisa dedicated three years of her career as an accounting specialist at the California Apartment Association in Sacramento.
Hailing from Grass Valley, California, Lisa’s upbringing instilled in her a profound reverence for the state’s vibrant agricultural traditions, particularly the beef industry. Lisa proudly graduated from California State University, Sacramento, where she attained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Accountancy. Her expertise and dedication have brought immense benefits to both the association and the ranching community throughout the great state of California.
At CCA, Lisa also takes on the vital role of serving as the Staff Liaison for the Livestock Memorial Research Fund. In this capacity, she actively contributes to the fund’s mission, which is dedicated to raising resources to support livestock research, foster educational opportunities through scholarships, and bolster the knowledge base of producers statewide.
