Anthony Stornetta, CCA Second Vice President

CCA’s Second Vice President Anthony Stornetta is from Atascadero, Calif., and serves as Deputy Fire Chief for the Santa Barbara County Fire Department. Anthony runs a cow-calf operation in San Luis Obispo and Monterey County. He enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter who also play a large role in their cattle operation, sharing that with anything cattle-related, his family is involved from bull selection, genetics, or Artificial Insemination, it is a group effort.

Anthony currently serves as the CCA Fire Subcommittee Chair. Other leadership roles he has held include, past San Luis Obispo County Cattlemen’s Association President; San Luis Obispo County Cattlemen’s Association Director; AB 1103 “Livestock Pass” development committee and California Prescribed Fire Burn Boss (SB 1260) Curriculum development and instructor to name a few.

As part of CCA’s leadership team, Anthony looks forward to visiting local associations, building membership, and working with other stakeholders. Additionally, he looks forward to working with the Legislature and pushing forward favorable bills and preventing the not-so-favorable ones from passing and would like to continue building on the Livestock/Ag Pass so that every county can realize the benefits of this program. As he looks ahead to his time on the officer team, some of Anthony’s priorities are to keep the legacy and culture alive for all members and their successors.
