SUMMARY:2026 Midyear Meeting
DESCRIPTION:This year’s Midyear Meeting will be at the Atlantis Casino Resort.\nWe encourage you to maximize your membership by attending and being an active part of the CCA policy making process. Come discuss current cattle industry issues with fellow producers\, as well as hear from industry leaders\, agencies and affiliate organizations. Your voice helps develop policy that provides direction for your organization and will influence the future of ranching. \nSCHEDULE \n2026 Midyear Schedule\nThis schedule is as of 6/22 and is subject to changes at any time. \nFor those attending the Reno Rodeo on Wednesday night\, please review the bag policy\, map and parking information here. \nREGISTRATION \nThe last day to pre-register was Wednesday\, June 17. Registration will be available onsite at an increased price.  \nRegistrations include access to all meetings and the Wednesday evening reception prior to attending the Reno Rodeo’s Wednesday Night Performance. Rodeo tickets are not included with registration and must be purchased separately. In order to purchase a rodeo ticket\, a full registration must also be purchased. \nNo registration refunds. \nROOM BLOCK AT THE ATLANTIS CASINO  \nThe room block at the Atlantis closed Thursday\, June 4th.

The goal of the session is to inform attendees about the ongoing beef cattle research and education efforts being conducted in California. Posters can be something that was presented at previous meetings. Please don’t spend a lot of time pulling one together (unless you really want to!) and feel free to bring more than one poster from your lab/program. \nFull Details on the Poster Session\n\nAPPLY TO BE A CONVENTION INTERN\n \nThe application period for interns is OPEN.  \nEach year YCC members have the opportunity to apply and serve as a CCA Convention Intern. The weeklong internship provides students with a hands-on and behind-the-scenes view of all the working parts of putting on a convention. Interns assist with registration\, directing attendees\, running the CCA merchandise table and much more. Additionally\, interns have the opportunity to connect with industry leaders\, and attend select meetings\, general sessions\, and the tradeshow with a complimentary registration. \nTo apply fill out this application\, and send in a resume and cover letter detailing why you would like to serve as a convention intern to gracie@calcattlemen.org by Friday\, Oct. 9\, at 11:59 p.m. PST.
